Plot

Son of Sardaar 2 brings back Ajay Devgn in a fresh comedy of errors, blending mistaken identities with heartfelt family drama. The film follows Jaggi Singh (Ajay Devgn), a boisterous yet kind-hearted man who returns to his hometown after years away. Struggling to earn respect in the community, Jaggi seizes an unexpected opportunity when he is mistaken for a decorated war hero. Meanwhile, young lovers Arjun (Ravi Kishan) and Simran (Mrunal Thakur) are desperate to gain their conservative families’ approval for marriage. When Jaggi learns of their plight, he decides to use his newfound “hero” status to help convince both sides. With the help of his quirky uncle (Sanjay Mishra), Jaggi spins elaborate tales of battlefield bravery, impressing the elders and uniting the feuding households. However, the charade soon spirals out of control. A retired army officer (Mukul Dev, in his final role) begins to suspect the truth, and Jaggi must balance his growing affection for Simran’s family with the fear of being exposed. The climax brings chaos, laughter, and an emotional twist, as Jaggi must finally reveal his true self—proving that courage isn’t always found on the battlefield, but in honesty, love, and standing up for others
