Plot

Nikita Roy follows the eerie and unsettling journey of Nikita Roy (Sonakshi Sinha), a reclusive woman who returns to her ancestral home in the hills after years of estrangement. Haunted by the mysterious death of her mother and the fractured relationship with her father (Paresh Rawal), Nikita finds herself drawn into a series of strange occurrences that blur the line between reality and the supernatural. Her return coincides with the arrival of a wealthy outsider (Arjun Rampal), who expresses interest in purchasing the family estate. His presence, however, seems to awaken dormant secrets within the house. As Nikita experiences terrifying visions and unexplainable events, she turns to a childhood friend (Suhail Nayyar) for support. Together, they uncover diaries, hidden passages, and local folklore that point toward a curse tied to her lineage. As the mystery deepens, Nikita must confront not only the sinister forces surrounding her but also long-buried truths about her family’s past. The climax reveals a chilling connection between her mother’s death, her father’s silence, and the darkness that has shadowed her bloodline. Blending psychological tension with gothic horror, Nikita Roy explores themes of trauma, inheritance, and the thin veil between the living and the dead.
