Movie Review: Pushpa 2 – A Star-Studded Sequel That Struggles with Pacing and Plot Cohesion

Plot: Pushpa 2 picks up where its predecessor left off, diving deeper into the world of red sandalwood smuggling. The film starts in Japan with an action-packed sequence showcasing Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun) fighting smugglers, before shifting focus back to India, where he faces a new set of challenges. Pushpa is happily married, holding significant power as the head of a smuggling syndicate. But when central minister Prathap Reddy (Jagapathi Babu) refuses to comply with his methods, Pushpa finds himself surrounded by enemies from all sides, including Bhanwar Singh Shekawat (Fahadh Faasil). The film spans multiple conflicts, each testing Pushpa's dominance and power in the underworld of smuggling.
