Plot

Rasa is a culinary drama that blends food, emotions, and the human spirit. The film follows Aarav (Rishi Bissa), a passionate but inexperienced young cook who dreams of making a mark in the culinary world. His journey leads him to the kitchen of renowned chef Devendra Rao (Shishir Sharma), a legend whose dishes are rumored to evoke powerful emotions—joy, sorrow, nostalgia, even love—in those who taste them. Initially overwhelmed by Devendra’s exacting standards and unconventional methods, Aarav struggles to find his footing. Alongside fellow apprentices (Vishishtha Chawla and Rajiv Kumar), he learns that cooking in this kitchen is not just about flavors and technique but about channeling one’s deepest feelings into food. As he apprentices under Devendra, Aarav is pushed to confront his own unresolved emotions—loss, insecurity, and longing—that hold him back from discovering his true culinary voice.
